‘If we didn’t know them, how can we care for them…”

This phrase might be right for members among the Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia Teams.
Around two and a half days, those people are gathered in Kota Rain forest Resort in KotaTinggi Johor Malaysia for the Quality Exchange Program. A better team work between the 3 teams is expected after this bonding program.

Day #1
At a dictated time, all participants gathered in a room and the first things that we, as participants were asked to do was to draw picture of our likings on a clean, white sheet of paper. Thereafter, this was practiced before each subsequent session commenced. After the drawing, we had a simple ‘ice-breaking’ session followed by briefing on the three days program. Going for a firefly cruise was our last activity for the day. Although those sparkling creatures may not be as spectacular as most of us would have expected, it was eye opening for many.

Day #2
We enjoyed the windy morning with exercises and ‘Quality’ enriched games. We had a ‘Quality Facilitation’ session in the morning too. A ‘Success Model’ was introduced via group discussions and game. The most enjoyed was the competing game that demonstrated the importance of knowing each team member’s strengths.

In the afternoon, we had outdoor activities for ‘Team Building’ session and the games we played were real boosters for teamwork and bonding. To most of us, the session was filled with challenges and tests for each individual. Though we were exhausted after the games, the burning air was filled with laughter, cheers and team spirits.

The evening curtain fell and it’s time for storytelling, a session most feared. Each of us came with a story to share and most accompanied with uneasiness. The ball began to roll and interesting stories started to unfold. We did not end the night here as we gave the late evening a final touch with a small party that eased the mood.

Day #3
A day beautified by Kota Tinggi Waterfall. We enjoyed the precious morning at this beautiful tourist spot. While some of us sat around to enjoy the scenic view, some went on to explore and enjoyed a free spa session sponsored by nature.

In the late morning, we had our final session. Daniel started off by sharing the pictures that we drew since day one. To our surprise, the pictures actually divulged the increasing depth of our bonding over the three days. Representatives from the three plants shared their Quality Journey experience too. The three days program ended after each participant shared his or her thoughts and gains derived from the programme. Remarkable memories and very amazing. Though the exchange program has ended, the Quality Journey continue…

97% of people buying decisions are made on an emotional basis then later justified by logic. Because emotion stimulates the mind up to 3,000 times faster than rational thought processes.
