What if we had woken on Nov 9 to president-elect Hillary Clinton? A tipping point missed.

Today Sharing:

@60 Part #4 – The Walking Man’s Dream

I don’t expect to live till the big “SIX-O’. In fact, I bought my own 60th birthday card & a balloon with the number 60 earlier.  Also, I have been writing and posting my ideas and thoughts every Friday on my website and Facebook since 2012.  These postings somehow become my own eulogy rather then eulogy that will be written after my death which I don’t have a chance to hear it. I write for myself & keepsake for my grandchildren. My children will read it to their children as bedtime stories.

@60, I have nothing to prove. I just want my children to be proud of me when I am here and I will also be proud of my legacy when they lay me in a coffin to cremate me. Oops! My son said can’t scatter dad ashes in the sea as he can’t swim, but maybe he will scatter it in Bukit Timah Hill. That is Dad’s favorite walking place, and don’t forget to take photos of the process. Hope it will be a breezy day, so you can see some of the ashes blowing in the breeze. You might think I have gone totally crazy, but somehow, once the ashes are scattered, those pictures are something solid my grandchildren can hold on to and remember the day which will be as emotional as the funeral. So you might thank me for sharing this idea now with you because that is something not everyone might think to do as your traditional might not permit you to do it.

If not, maybe bury the ashes beside the durian trees that I have planted in Johor. I love durians and planted a few in Johor.

A not-so-good idea is to mix the ashes with cement and make a sculpture out of it. I have a sculpture of my 21st birthday sitting at my dining area in my home, a gift from my artist friend.

A Ziploc bag and a tablespoon might be my next idea.

Keep calm and never tell anyone, especially the customs. I have been traveling on business and leisure to many countries, and scatter  a few tablespoons of my ashes to the places I’ve been: Middle East, Oman, Saudi, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai. New York, LA, Las Vegas (In LV 13 is my favorite number, I always win with this number when I’m there) Houston, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Mount Fuji, Hainan island of China, Europe, etc.   It would it be meaningful to scatter ashes where I have traveled. By bringing some of my ashes to scatter in familiar or foreign places, my children can acknowledge my past and include me in their present tense.

It never good to leave any human ashes in an urn, because all living creatives have to return to the earth, and be, more-or-less, a fertilizer for other living organisms to continue the life cycle. It requires no stretch of my imagination to hear the glee with which my children would’ve said, “Dad told you so.”  But at the end of the day if any family members want to keep some for themselves then please don’t release all the ashes.

 2016 FSY Week 48b Organ

For me there will be no funeral ceremony to send me off. Once we move to minimalism all this will be unnecessary. There is no hurry to cremate my body as I have pledged my whole body to science. In the event of my death my family will notify the transparent coordinator to collect my body.  I strongly believe after my death my body should be loaned to the science, where new doctors can use to practice their skills or maybe study why my blood is the only “Q” type – that’s Qualipreneur. I love donating blood until I realize that my blood is of no use to anyone, but just for the curious few scientists who wanted me to be in their program maybe the ” Artificial Intelligence” type who want to understand why it is “Q”.

Once they have cut & chop, practice. I understand that they will cremate my body and return to my children which they will scatter as they wish.
