Today Sharing

As the year draws to a close, have you take a step back to reflect what you have done well or faced? Here are a few Year-End Questions for you to think:

  • If you fired yourself today and came back as a new boss or employee in 2016, what would you do?
  • What is the one thing you was worst at this year? What singles thing most needs to happen to fix it.
  • What are the 3 things you did best this year? How to make that success into a repeatable process?
  • Which monkeys you carried on your shoulder that was most responsible for hindering the way in 2015? What are you going to do with those monkeys on your shoulder?
  • If Zero Destination, Zero harm or Zero safety incident goals are your 2015 least liked hearing about? What will be your new metric or measurement for 2016?
  • What is the 3 metrics that you will measure your own success in 2016. Bear in mind that it is not how your boss, your family or some else measure your success.
  • What are the things, you think your boss won’t let you do in 2015 and how to overcome it in 2016? I believe 9 out of 10 this isn’t true if it is true you should get a new job in 2016.

Who set your agenda? If you are working only for the person you report to according to the organization chart. Pleasing him or her may cause you stress, hide your artwork, you fit in and merely a cog in the big machinery system. The system want you to be obedient, want you to (F)it in, But fitting in the (S)ystem may not be (Y)our real artwork.
